Since the fist appearance of The Tony Patterson Band at Progmeister2 there has been little time for idle hands. tony has been hard at work writing and recording music as he does for various media and started work with Riversea man Brendan Eyre on the Northlands project. More recently Tony sent me some files containing some very exciting pieces to be included on his next solo album “The angel And The Dreamer”. Many Genesis fans out there who will likely see Tony playing with Re-Genesis in the coming months and will be pleased to know that the title track from Tony’s new album has some great lamb-like overtones with a little Rick Wright thrown in for good measure. There will be little or no vocals involved in the new project relying instead on Tony’s immense musical talents. Tony informs me that “The Angel And the Dreamer 2 is something that he has been wanting to do for a while and is something that he is extremely excited about as am i. It is likely to surface in the early part of 2013 so watch this space.
