I recieved a call from an old school mate a couple of weeks back asking if i would like to compare a gig he is organizing in my home town Hartlepool up in the North East. I of course tread with caution before agreeing to anything. However, when he told me that it is Dave Bainbridge of Iona and Sally Minnear duaghter of Gentle Giant keys legend Kerry how could i refuse? The answer of course is not! Dave has quite a pedigree playing with legends such as The Strawbs as well as electro folk outfit Iona. Sally is a gifted musician and the fusion of these two musical souls can only make for a very special evening.
